- Structural features: The whole unit has a cylindrical symmetrical layout. Molds rarely need adjustment during production. It delivers high assembly precision and extremely low concentricity error.

1.2 Chinese Oval Dry-Type Transformer
- Core cross-section: Designed in oval shape. The ratio of major axis to minor axis is strictly controlled between 1.45 and 1.53. Core limbs are arranged parallel along the major axis.
- Winding: Windings follow the oval shape and stretch along the major axis. Yoke length is greatly reduced while the minor axis is compressed. It adopts a concentric oval structure, with high and low voltage windings fitted as a complete assembly.
- Structural feature: It is an asymmetric high-efficiency design. The core uses laminations of multiple widths, achieving a stacking factor of 92% to 95% for higher material utilization.
- Design background: Optimized to cut costs and reduce material waste of round transformers. It complies with China standard GB/T 10228, balancing performance and economy.

2.1 European Round Dry-Type Transformer
- Stray flux control: The symmetrical round magnetic circuit ensures even flux distribution. It has very low stray flux density, low electromagnetic interference (EMI) and running noise ≤ 45 dB. It is ideal for precision working environments.
- Short-circuit resistance: Round windings bear uniform force in all directions. During short circuits, electric force distributes radially without local stress concentration. It offers excellent short-circuit withstand capacity and can withstand impulse current up to 20 times the rated current.
