1. What certifications are required for Eastern European customs clearance?
For EU member states in Eastern Europe: EU EcoDesign Tier 2 compliance (Regulation EU 548/2014) is mandatory, along with CE marking. For Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan: EAC certificate is compulsory in compliance with TR CU 004 (Low Voltage Safety) and TR CU 020 (EMC). For transformers with primary voltage over 1kV, additional GOST-R certification registered in the respective national certification system is required for smooth customs clearance.
2. What technical standards are adopted?
Designed in accordance with IEC 60076 international standard and fully compliant with Russian GOST 3484. Insulation class (F/H), partial discharge value and IP protection degree can be customized per local grid requirements.
3. Adaptability to Eastern European power grids?
Eastern European power grids run at 50Hz. We can customize primary and secondary voltage ratings to fit 6kV/10kV local distribution systems. Impedance and loss indicators are adjustable to meet local technical codes across Eastern Europe, Russia and Ukraine.
4. Warranty & after-sales support
2-year standard warranty. We offer English/Russian/Ukrainian-version engineering drawings and spare parts list, as well as remote on-site installation and commissioning guidance.
5. Complete customs documentation list
Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, EAC declaration, full type test reports and wooden packaging fumigation certificate.
6. Does this transformer meet EU EcoDesign energy efficiency standards?
Yes. Our 5500kVA dry-type transformer fully complies with EU EcoDesign Tier 2 requirements (Regulation EU 548/2014 & 2019/1783), meeting strict maximum no-load and load loss limits. This ensures high energy efficiency and lower operating costs throughout the product lifecycle, making it suitable for all Eastern European EU member states as well as energy-conscious industrial customers in Russia and Ukraine.
